I am a PhD researcher at the University of York. My research focusses on the UK Parliament, refugees and social network analysis. More specifically my research looks at how the processes of representation occur within the UK Parliament. It applies social network analysis to understand how the system works and what mechanisms are encouraging the positive representation of refugees in parliament. I am also Interested In theories of representation as well as parliamentary Institutions.
I was awarded the ESRC White Rose Advanced Quantitative Methods 1+3 Scholarship In 2022 and currently hold a MA In Social Research.
Recently I was awarded the annual Political Studies Associations and House of Commons Internship.
I am also the Events Officer for the The UK Political Studies Association Specialist Group on Parliaments.
